Berhampur : The village people of Keranditola under the Chatrapur block of Orissa had killed a wild bear on Monday.

The wild beers had been creating tension at the nearby villages for few months and on Monday also, a man who had gone to the nearby field became the victim of the attack.

Sustaining injuries, the man came to the village and inform about it after which the village people nabbed the bears.

In the battle between the wild bears and the people, 2 persons had been injured and 1 bear had been killed at the village.

In a similar incident, the village people of Tarei Patapur under the Chatrapur block in Ganjam have killed another bear.
