Bhubaneswar ( Orissa) : In an attempt to bring excellence and transparency in service delivery system of Public Distribution System a pilot project " SEVOTTAM" is to be launched in Balipatna block under Khurda district of the State. with the initiative of Government of India under D.F.I.D. funding.

SEVOTTAM" is an assessment model for improving service delivery.

This will be implemented in consultation with leading consultants, Government /semi Govt. organizations, Citizen groups ,beneficiaries as well as other stakeholders of Public distribution system.

The project will be implemented by Department of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare with the help of Information Technology Company WIPRO.

Successful implementation of this pilot project will be helpful in improving the quality of Public service delivery of the on going Public Distribution System of the State.
