Bhubaneswar (Orissa): True love no way finds any alteration or impediments, thanks to Shakespeare. So, love always wins either in real life or in reel life, holding this, two Maoists lovebirds have left their comrades in search of nuptial paradise along Orissa-Andhra Pradesh border.

The story is different from the customary Bollywood Movies, where the lovers either abscond because of parental disagreement and get caught by the cops or fled with lovers in search of a peaceful heaven.

But Y. Appa Rao (22) and Y. Damayanti (16) had to flee as their comrades opposed their union. The lovebirds duo have been working with the Koraput Regional Committee of Orissa Unit of the outlawed CPI (Maoists).

Andhra Police arrested both in Vizianagaram late on Saturday after they fled the party because of cadres' condemnation, Koraput Superintendent of Police Deepak K Chouhan told this Correspondent over phone on Sunday quoting reports of his Andhra counterparts.

The young SP of Koraput however admitted that the love story has puzzled many while this issue has been debated a lot since the two traced out by the police.

Appa Rao, a native of Chinanandabalagam of Terlam Mandal in the district joined the outlawed outfit in 2004 on the remonstrance of his father Simhachalam, who is the East Division Committee Agriculture Commander while Damayanti, a native of Kerandi village of Rayagada district, joined CPI (Maoists) in 2007.

Within a very short period, their eyes met and the two perceived their love for each other. When they disclosed their love affair, their Red comrades raised objections to it. Their party members turned inhuman and tormented them and forced them to leave their camp.

Finding no other way, the two bitten by love germ fled the Dalam and came to Piridi village in Bobbili Mandal. On a tip-off, the Bobbili Police of Andhra reached the spot and took them into custody.

It may be noted here that earlier few women cadres Maoists had ran away from their base in Orissa-Jharkhand border alleging sexual harassment. With this issue, it was clear now that the Leftwing Guerrillas are too critical on love affairs.
