Sudarshan Patnaik and his students are creating sand art of a mini stadium with a 5ft long hockey stick on sand at Puri sea shore on Wednesday.

Puri (Orissa): At a time when the alleged bribery rocks Indian Hockey worled and earned a bad reputaion to the National Game, the internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik from orissa appeal to save the National game through his sand sculpture at Puri sea shore on Wednesday.

Pattnaik created a mini stadium with a 5ft long hockey stick on sand at Puri beach of Orissa. He also doing a signature campaigning on this regards.

Along with his students, he took 5 hours and use 7 tones of sand to create sclpture.

I will also send the photographs to the Honourable President of India Mrs. Prativa Patil to save the National game, Patnaik said.

As a Hockey fan I appeal to people of our country to love our National game. Today lot of people gathered on beach for signature, he fuirther added.

Prior to it Pattnaik participated different sport activities like World cup Cricket-1998 at London, FIFA World cup-2006 at Berlin, Doha Asian game etc.
