Puri (Orissa) : Internationally renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture on the visit of Indian railway board chairman Shri S.S. Khurana and his wife at Puri beach in Orissa.
Pattnaik created 20ft long train with some faces of people with the sign “Train is our lifeline”. He used 5 tones of sand and took 12hours to complete. His students joined hand with him to complete this sculpture.
Mr. Khurana and some senior officers highly appreciated the Pattnaik’s sculpture.
Speaking to the media persons Khurana has said to the press that he will try a land for sand art park at puri . Pattnaik is trying since a long time to get his dream successful by making a sand art park for development of sand art.
Last year Pattnaik felicitated by the Indian Railway and got a card pass.
World champion Sudarsan has participated in more than 39 international sand sculpture championships/ festivals across the world and won many awards for the country.
He had also created World’s biggest sand Santa clause, Jesus Christ and longest Santa Clause at Puri beach which was placed in “Limca book of World record”.
