Bhubaneswar : In a significant decision ahead of Tuesday’s crucial floor test, Biju Janata Dal, (BJD) one of the major constituents of BJP led NDA, on Sunday issued a Whip to all its 11 MPs asking them to vote against, Manmohan Singh led UPA government.

The Whip came just few hours prior to the dinner party hosted by senior BJP leader LK Advani in national capital on Sunday night ahead of the two-day long Special Session of Parliament beginning from Monday to decide the fate of Manmohan Singh Government, which turns into a minority following withdrawal of support by the Left Parties over the controversial Indo-US civil nuclear deal.

The party has issued a whip asking all 11 MPs to vote against the Manmohan Singh Government, BJD Parliamentary Party leader in Lok Sabha Braja Kishor Tripathy told this Correspondent over phone from New Delhi on Sunday.

The so-called poaching of MPs in the wake of the trust vote by the Congress-led UPA Government would not affect my party MPs," BJD boss and Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had said earlier.

BJD has 11 MPs in Lok Sabha. They are Prasanna Acharya( Sambalpur ), Mohan Jena( Jajpur ), Bhartruhari Mahtab( Cuttack ), Archana Nayak( Kendrapara), Brahmananda Panda( Jagatsinghpur), Dr Prasanna Patasani( Bhubaneswar), Tathagata Satpathy( Dhenkanal), Arun Charan Sethi( Bhadrak), Sugrib Singh (Phulbani ), Harihar Swain( Aska) and Braja Kishor Tripathy( Puri and all have been asked to remain present during the two-day long Session.
