“We could move a no-confidence motion in the house,” the former Orissa Chief Minister JB told www.odishatoday.com on Tuesday.
“We know that we don’t have the figure to defeat the Government but we could move the motion,” the Leader of Opposition added.
The Government has failed to contain Maoists, supply fertiliser to farmers and indulged in petty politics in the name of distributing rice at Rs 2 per kg, CLP meeting noted.
The Opposition however alleged that the Public Distribution System (PDS) has completely collapsed in the state due to hoarding of essential commodities, adding that the State Government had also misused the centrally-sponscored Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyut Karan Yojana (RGGVKY).
