Orissa to set up Nanotechnology Park in the state

Bangalore : After biotechnology park, Orissa Govt is planning to set up Nanotechnology Park in the state. On the last day of "Bangalore Bio-2007" in Bangalore, Minister of state, Science and Technology, Sanjiv Sahu said, CM Naveen Pattnaik has taken several initiatives in this aspect.

On the last day of "Bangalore Bio 2007", on Satuderday in Bangalore he said, Chief minister, Naveen pattnaik is taking initiative to set up BIO-IT Pak and Nanotechnology in the state.

Speaking to our correspondent in Bangalore he further said, Orissa has successfully show cashed its potential and govt policy on Biotechnology in the mega event "Bangalore Bio 2007", in which some foreign biotech companies have also participated.

"Some foreign company also showed their interest to set up their plant in orissa" he informed

In this occasion Rebecca Nayar, Director, Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of Orissa said " we have able to show cash our potential and able to draw foreign attention on Orissa so far as biotechnology is concerned."
