Bhubaneswar (Orissa) : In a set back to Posco, PPSS has decided to oppose the project from Wednesday.
In a meeting organised by the Posco Pratirodha Sangram Sammiti on Tuesday, it was decided to oppose posco from Wednesday.
As per the decision taken on Tuesday, the members of Posco Pratirodha Sangram Sammity have opposed the soil test work near Polanga village under Garh Kujanga Panchayat.
Earlier 70 displaced families of Pattana village demanded to sent them back to their home, and to provide contract work to the local peoples. But their demand has not yet been fulfilled. So under the leadership of Nuagan Sarpanch Bhaskar Swain, Garh Kujanga Sarpanch Nakulla Sahoo, Nirvay Samantaray, Samarendra Naik, Dhirendra Pallai has decided to oppose Posco and not to enter the Posco officials to the area from Wednesday.
