Berhampur (Orissa) : One oil company has started its inquiry into allegations made by the customers under the leadership of former Deputy Speaker of Orissa Legislative Assembly Ram Chandra Panda, on the illegal LPG connections and depriving the people after changing of the agencies.

Representatives of the particular oil company on Friday had reached here and started inquiring into the matter.

S Basu, SK Rath and CS Bhaskar Rao of the oil company had meet Panda and some customers here in the city and had collected the views.

Panda along with the customers had appraised that the concerned agencies had provided the LPG connections to the people in ‘care of addresses’, but after changing of the agencies, the people were being deprived of their right. When the agencies had done the mischief then why the costumers should suffer, argued the people.

Customers and Panda had also demanded that connections given in care of addresses should not be cancelled keeping in view the inconvenience of the costumers and should be provided with the LPG as usual.

Moreover, supply of more LPG connections to the city was demanded and the representatives of the oil company had assured the people to appraise the matter to the company.
