Mumbai : Bollywood’s Big-B Amitabh Bachchan’s test-results are normal and he will be released soon, says doctor.
In a statement released from Lilavati Hospital, said “Mr. Amitabh Bachchan had a restful night at Lilavati Hospital. The doctors attending on him are pleased with his recovery. The tests do not suggest any abnormality… under the circumstances, medicines have worked. Within few days he will go home”.
Bachchan, who was in the midst of his 66th birthday celebrations at his bungalow Pratiksha in Juhu, was rushed to the Nanavati Hospital early Saturday afternoon after complaining of abdominal pain and breathlessness.
He was then shifted to the Lilavati Hospital where he continued to be under observation.
The megastar had undergone blood investigation and CT of the abdomen.
His wife Jaya, daughter Shweta Nanda, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya were attending on the senior Bachchan in the hospital.
Earlier in the morning Reliance ADAG head Anil Ambani and Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh, Priya Dutt and Tinu Anand were paid visit to the hospital to enquire after Bachchan’s health.
