Bhubaneswar ( Orissa) : Senior BJP leader LK Advani would set few guidelines for his party cadres in Orissa during his politically sensitive State visit slated for June 28 (Sunday) at Steel City of Rourkela.
The former Deputy Prime Minister, who will come from Madhya Pradesh, will address a public meeting at Bisra Maidan in Rourkela ahead of crucial 2009 Lok Sabha Polls and Orissa Assembly Polls, party sources said here on Wednesday.
Since, the NDA's Prime Ministerial candidate himself interested to keep a close look on BJP's traditional vote bank comprising tribal populations of the State, experts watching saffron party's political growth in Orissa.
The political observers also predict that the high profile visit would work more for the BJP's political growth despite mudslinging among party cadres and alleged poor performances of BJP Ministers.
The venue of the two-day long State Executive certainly justified national vice-president and Sundargarh MP Juel Orma's close proximity with the party top brass.
Oram was the only leader of Orissa BJP, who on many occasions dared to view against the State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, with whom the party has been in a strong alliance of eight years.
Oram very often came against Orissa Chief Minister on displacement iisues.
Before, Advani's visit, BJP National president Rajnath Singh, had addressed the Kranti Samabesha in Sambalpur on January 23 this year, the hometown of State president Suresh Pujari.
Political observers also believe that many qualified leaders like Balasore MP MA Kharvel Swain, Keonjhar MP Anata Nayak, Rajya Sabha member Rudra Narayan Pani, MLA Brundaban Kalas, Pratap Sarangi, Mahesh Sahoo, Karendra Majhi are not getting proper space in BJP.
On the other hand leaders like Deogarh MP Dharmendra Pradhan, Revenue Minister Manmohan Samal, Law Minister Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and Cooperation Minister Surama Padhi jointly handling all the affairs of BJP.
Advani's visit comes at a time, when the party losing its ground slowing even many observers feels that BJP has to do lot of home work and put right foot forward to retain its last year figure.
Most of the sitting MLAs and few Ministers may have to face the music of anti-incumbency.
Meanwhile sources say that few BJP Ministers may launch their son in both Lok Sabha and Assembly Polls.
