Bhubaneswar (Orissa): Oriya album actress Bidusmita Mantri late night on Wednesday has filed an FIR with the City Mahila police regarding the claims by gangster Raja Acharya that he possesses obscene MMS clips of the actress and her close friend actress Leslie Tripathy.

The actress along with her brother Arun Mantri reached the Mahila Police hear midnight and lodged an FIR against the gangster Raja, who is cooling his heals in Jharpada Special jail in connection with Judo coach Biranchi Das murder case.

"I suspect Raja might be creating such situations," the album actress told reporters after lodging an FIR.

Bidusmita said, "Raja is angry with me because he wanted to use me as a medium to get Leslie. But after the failure he is taking our names to defame us. He is mentally torturing me. Neither I nor Leslie have any knowledge about any MMS clip,"

She said on Tuesday, around 9.30 pm, she received a call from cell no-923799606 which said, "do not come to Bhubaneswar, we are coming to Kendrapara. If you come here we are going to eliminate your whole family," the caller said in a threatening voice.

After getting the call, I have informed State DGP Gopal Chandra Nanda, Kendrapara Superintendent of Police Diptesh Patnaik, Bhubaneswar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Himashu Lal, she added.

However, sources said some of Raja's associates might have threatened the actress on behalf of the gangster who is cooling his heels behind bars. Police are still clueless over the issue.

"We have no fresh developments but investigations are on," said Additional Commissioner of Police YB Khurania. Prison Department officials on the other hand have decided not to shift gangster Raja from Jharpada jail.
