Orissa Board Exam toppers set high ambition

Bhubaneswar (Orissa) : Toppers of Orissa Board of Secondary Education Examinations on Tuesday chalked out their future plan few minutes after the Board published its Matriculation results. 63.41 per cent students have cleared their examinations in regular stream.

“I am delighted with the results, it’s out of hard work and perseverance in mind,” attributed topper Bibek Bishal Mehena of Rourkela-2 Saraswati Vidya Mandir, who secured 574 marks in the examinations out of 600.

“In fact, after +2 Science, I would opt IIT engineering and if I get IIT Kanpur, I will be at an advantage position to see my future in a better way,” Bibek told over phone from the Steel City.

Sanket Dash of Ramaharinagar Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Silk city of Berhampur, who declared joint topper for his 574 marks, also hoped better in the coming days.

“I want to be a scientist and peruse research work in this field,” the proud topper Sanket said adding five to six hours of study is enough to scale anything. “My parents and teachers were instrumental behind my success,” he acknowledged after the results came out early in the day.

Anshuman Tripathy of Balangiri Saraswati Vidya Mandir, who was declared second topper for his 573 marks, however thanked his parents and teachers for this miracle.

Subhashree Rout of Choudwar Kalinga Vidyapitha, who was declared joint second topper for her 573, hoped to start any professional studies after the +2. “I am happy with my performance,” added Subhashree.

Bidyasabitru Nayak of Lunahar Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Salipur, who was declared third topper for his 572, also expressed happiness for his success.
