Bhubaneswar ( Orissa ) : 25 year old Ajit Pradhan, son of Surendra Pradhan allegedly been murdered, while his dead body found near Kalikhama Bridge few meters away from Mancheswar Railway Station, police said.
Victim's father is working as Police constable in Mancheswar Railway Police Station, on the outskirt of the city, sources said.
Family sources said that Ajit was missing since June 23 while his dead body was found on Wednesday moring. Sources said that Ajit had a love affair with a girl, who is staying at GGP Colony in Rasulgarh area.
But family members of the girl were very critical to the issue and they allegedly killed Ajit as revenge.
Police however sent the dead body to Capital Hospital for postmortem. "Wounds are being spotted in the dead body, killers might use some lethal weapons to eliminate the youth," police official said. The killers reportedly kidnapped him and later killed, he apprehended.
Meanwhile, no arrest has been made till last reports came in while police have registered a case and investigating the issue.
