Bhubaneswar (Orissa) : Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is under scanner over the multi-crore mining scam and farmer suicides, on Wednesday received yet another set back with Opposition Congress moving a privilege motion against him.

The Opposition moved the motion against Chief Minister, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Raghunath Mohanty and Government chief whip RN Pany accusing them of breaching privilege of the Assembly by adjourning the House sine die unexpectedly in the last session.

On Tuesday, the second day of the session, ruling Biju Janata Dal MLAs had moved a privilege motion against the Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh and Opposition chief whip Prasad Harichandan for hosting a symbolic Assembly after the house was adjourned sine die.

Meanwhile, Speaker Pradip Kumar Amat said that he had recommended sine die as the House was no business.
