Japanese firm creates world's first super cool bra

A Japanese firm has created the world's first cooling bra which contains refrigerated gel pads.

The Triumph design has been modelled on a mini fishbowl and includes a wind chime and a sprig of mint. There is even a little bamboo ladle added for good measure, in case, the wearer wants a splash of water, The Sun reported.

While remaining soft and supple, the bra pads take excess heat away from the body to leave a pleasing sensation on the skin.

It can also be worn with a skirt made of a mosquito net or bamboo shades, adding to its ability to offer relief in a heatwave.

As Japan fears a power shortage after its all nuclear reactors shut down following the Fukushima crisis, the lingerie giant wants to help keep Japan cool while air conditioning is used less.

According to Triumph spokeswoman Yoshiko Masuda said: "The whole nation, especially the Kansai region, is expected to suffer from a shortfall of electricity.

"Companies and families now have to deal with higher electricity bills, so we decided on this theme as we felt we had to increase awareness of saving electricity."
